Honestly this shoot came out a lot different than how i imagined it. It’s better.

I always knew that I wanted to shoot Emma in front of a bright colored background and it kinda gave a 90s headshot vibe that I liked. She wore the perfect outfit for it and i’m obsessed. So here you go, enjoy 🙂

an introvert’s miracle

I think that one of the weirdest things in life is friendship.

There are billions of people on this planet, but for whatever reason you meet the right person at the right time and made an unsaid agreement on enjoyment of one another’s company. I don’t get it, particularly because I don’t understand why anyone would enjoy my company haha.

But hey! I met someone about 7 months ago that i made one of those bonds with and even though we live 2 hours away from each other and only regularly communicate through liking each other’s tweets, it lasted. I couldn’t be happier because I’m telling you, Renaissance is one of the coolest humans i’ve ever met. She’s so adorable, smart, politically savvy, beautiful, funny, inspiring, talented and passionate I am just so dang happy I had the pleasure of meeting her.

We met at Vidcon back in July while standing behind 100 people in line waiting to see Grace Helbig’s live show. We started talking in line, got each other’s numbers and then met the next day when seeing Dan and Phil.

Now, I’m not the kind of person to talk to and form friendships with strangers, but a miracle happened and I decided to not be such an introvert. I’m glad, because now i’ve made an awesome friend.

Renaissance got to visit LA a couple weeks ago and i decided to take her to one of my favorite places: the LACMA. We spent the afternoon having delightful catch up convos, perusing the exhibits, and taking pictures almost everywhere. It was the best day i’ve had in a long time 🙂

If you read this, thank you Renaissance. I’m so glad you’re so outgoing and decided to adopt this awkward introvert ❤

P.S. I’m so excited for our next adventure in March!!!
